What is notifiable (and where it goes)

Under the Building Regulations for electrical work, the following require notification via a qualified electrician (or via Folkestone & Hythe DC building control):

• New circuits
• Consumer unit replacement
• Any work in a bathroom or shower room (Zone 0-3)
• Any work supplying an outdoor circuit (garden lights, outbuildings, EV chargers)

Folkestone-specific notes
